Creative / Social Media Director

We’re Hiring a Creative / Social Media Director! 2819 Church seeks a visionary Creative / Social Media Director for the Church and the Office of the Pastor who is passionate about using digital media to inspire, engage, and disciple others. Reporting to the Executive Leadership Team, this role will lead the strategy, creation, and execution of all digital and creative content—ensuring a compelling and consistent brand message that advances our mission.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead visual storytelling & branding through high-quality video, photography, and design.
- Develop & execute digital engagement strategies across social media platforms.
- Manage content creation & campaigns, ensuring brand consistency and audience connection.
- Analyze digital performance metrics to optimize content and engagement.
- Recruit, train & lead creative teams, fostering collaboration and excellence.
- Enhance digital storytelling & website content to expand reach and impact.
- Be able to travel with the office of the pastor on select engagements.
- Continuously innovate & improve workflows for efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Strong, mature faith in Jesus Christ
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Light Room, Davinci Resolve, Canva, etc.)
- Ability to work with website platforms & coding a significant plus (Framer, Squarespace, Webflow, Figma, etc.)
- Be able to take direct and essential feedback in an emotionally healthy way.
- Work directly with the office of the Pastor to execute the vision directly from our senior leadership.
- 3-5 years of experience in digital media, content creation, or creative leadership.
- Proven expertise in social media strategy, video production, and branding.
- Experience leading and developing creative teams.
- Strong storytelling, communication, and engagement skills.
- Ability to analyze data and adjust strategies for growth.
- Passion for ministry and a heart for using media to impact lives.

- Implementing strategies that elevate our digital presence and reach.
Minimal Essential Functions:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Must be willing to travel out of state/country as needed.
- Ability to work with others and demanding deadlines
Working Hours & Expectations:
- Sunday presence is required for all gatherings
- Regular office hours Monday-Thursday
- Flexibility for special events, global engagement, and urgent media needs
- Available for digital crisis response & real-time content updates
- Travel for major events, shoots and training opportunities
Position Type: Full-Time, Exempt
