JOB DESCRIPTION

Overflow is hiring a Fullstack Engineer to help execute the product roadmap for our Nonprofit Dashboard and Donor Flows products. Your primary objective will be build end to end experiences that enable nonprofits to facilitate and manage their cash, stock and crypto donations. You will be responsible for working and collaborating closely with other engineers, product and design leads, and cross- functional partners to ensure that your features are delivered on time and bug free.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Build beautiful donation and donation management experiences along with the APIs that power these experiences.
Collaborate with product and design leads to scope out feature feasibility and timelines.
Ensure our UI components and libraries are reliable, secure, extensible, and accessible.
Implement security and data protection solutions to ensure Personal Identifying Information remains safe and secure.
Build infrastructure to handle the full donation lifecycle for hundreds of nonprofits, churches, and charities.
Develop testing strategies, write unit/functional tests and take ownership of the QA cycle to ensure high code quality.
Articulate a long term vision for maintaining and scaling our systems and the teams running them.
Become an expert in Overflowʼs product, occasionally working with our nonprofit partners and sales team to understand features or customization requirements

DESIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS & APTITUDES

3 years of industry experience as a Fullstack Engineer.
You are proficient in TypeScript and have deep experience building end to end features with React, NextJs, NodeJs, Express and other JavaScript frameworks
You have experience designing and implementing data models with both NoSQL and SQL like databases.
You have strong knowledge of the design principles that underpin scalable and user-friendly web applications.
You have integrated applications with payment providers like Stripe, Paypal, and Clover.
You have built or managed user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
You have experience building, deploying and scaling applications with Docker on AWS, Vercel, or other cloud providers.
You have a thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and deployment.
You have excellent communication skills to clearly articulate design decisions, alternatives, and trade-offs.

BASE SALARY

Payable on a bi-monthly basis & subject to all withholdings & deductions as required by law
