Remote Back-End Developer

 About the Role 
We’re building a platform where engineers, students, and builders can find collaborators and bring real-world projects to life.

We’re looking for a Back-End Developer to help architect and build the MVP. You’ll work with a founder who has the vision, roadmap, and frontend design underway. The backend has some progress, but needs refinement or potential restructuring based on your recommendations. 

If you’re a technically sharp, mission-aligned developer who enjoys building something from the ground up, this role is for you. 

 Responsibilities 
  • Design, build, and deploy the backend for the MVP
  • Ensure integration of site across all aspects.
  • Manage user accounts, auth flows, project data, and permissions
  • Create and document clean APIs for frontend integration
  • Decide the best backend stack (Supabase, Node.js, Firebase, Django, etc.)
  • Set up hosting, security, and database structure
  • Collaborate closely with founder and existing design resources
  • Potentially transition into technical leadership.
