Olive Tree Bible Software is hiring a
Remote Digital Marketing Associate

📍 Remote

Olive Tree Bible Software, a division of Gospel Technologies LLC located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, has been developing Bible software for mobile and desktop platforms since the late 1990s. Our mission is to inspire and equip people to read and study God’s Word through technology. We pride ourselves on providing premium Bible study apps on all the major platforms (iOS, Android, Mac, and Windows) with access to over 25,000 Christian-based books, including commentaries, dictionaries, study Bibles, books, audio, video, and more.

The Digital Marketing Associate will join a team that oversees communication and sales/promotions to Olive Tree customers through email, in-app messaging, and social media. This is a remote, full-time (40 hour/week) position with company benefits. Preference may be given to those within a two-hour driving distance of Spokane, WA. A part-time position may be considered for the right candidate.

The successful candidate is someone with up to 4 years of experience in marketing who wants to develop their knowledge and skills, and to be a part of a mission-minded company that reaches over one million people every month with the Bible.

Essential Duties
  • Plan, write, and schedule social media posts fitting the branding guidelines, responding to questions and comments as they arise.
  • Create and edit video content such as how-to, look-inside, and feature promotions for use on social media, YouTube, and Olive Tree website.
  • Plan, write, and schedule in-app messages.
  • Assist in the creation of marketing graphics for sales, social media, or other promotional materials as needed.
  • Monitor and measure analytics around social media interaction and in-app messages.
  • Assist in other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Experience
  • 0-4 years of experience in marketing, sales, design, media production, or a related field

Education
  • 2- or 4-year degree in marketing or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience

Skills
  • Fun and dynamic personality that comes through in written communication
  • Eye for design in video and digital image creation
  • Strong desire to learn and grow in marketing
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently under deadlines, setting priorities and problem-solving as needs arise

Industry Knowledge
  • Social media platforms and their scheduling tools
  • Digital image and video tools such as Canva, Figma, Adobe Suite, etc.
  • Familiarity with Christian non-fiction books, especially as relates to Bible study, for church and academic audiences
  • Familiarity with theological terms and how they relate to different books and authors is a plus
