Faith.Online is hiring a
Remote Product Manager

📍 Remote

We're building Faith.Online from the ground up. As our Product Manager with a monetization focus, you'll own the strategic decisions that determine how we create and turn community engagement into sustainable revenue while preserving the authentic experience that makes great communities thrive.
This is a 0-to-1 role. You'll shape product strategy from a nearly blank canvas, under our CTO, make critical launch decisions with incomplete information, and balance the tension between growth, engagement, and monetization. You won't be optimizing existing funnels—you'll be defining what those funnels should be.

Contract: 10-20 hours/week with growth potential as we scale.

What You'll Own
1) Monetization Strategy & Execution
  • Define and implement our revenue model from scratch (subscription tiers, freemium mechanics, marketplace economics, premium features, or hybrid approaches) - and how this gets launched as our MVP translates to live
  • Determine optimal timing for introducing monetization (day 1 vs. post-traction / community critical mass) without killing organic growth
  • Design pricing experiments and willingness-to-pay research for a brand new product category
  • Build financial models that balance user acquisition costs, lifetime value, and community health metrics – while balancing need for rapid speed / execution

2) Product Strategy & Launch Planning
  • Develop MVP scope and ruthlessly prioritize features that drive both engagement and revenue potential
  • Own the product roadmap from pre-launch through post-launch iteration
  • Solve the cold start problem—design seeding strategies, initial user acquisition, and community activation
  • Make strategic trade-offs between building features, growth initiatives, and monetization mechanics

3) Community Dynamics & Growth
  • Balance community quality with growth velocity (knowing when to throttle growth vs. when to accelerate)
  • Define success metrics beyond vanity metrics—engagement depth, retention cohorts, creator/contributor economics
  • Design mechanisms that preserve community culture while scaling
  • Partner with community, marketing, and ops to build growth loops that compound over time

4) Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Work closely with CTO and engineering to ship iteratively and learn fast
  • Partner with design to create experiences that feel authentic, not extractive
  • Collaborate with data/analytics to instrument the product from day 1 and build dashboards that matter
  • Align stakeholders on strategy when opinions diverge and data is sparse

What You Bring:
  • 7-10+ years of product management experience with at least 2 years focused on monetization, pricing, or business model design
  • Track record of 0-to-1 product development or early-stage product launches (pre-PMF to scaled growth)
  • Deep understanding of consumer product monetization—subscriptions, freemium conversion, marketplace economics, or ad-supported models
  • Demonstrated ability to make high-conviction decisions with incomplete data and learn quickly from experimentation

Bonus:
  • Experience with community products, social platforms, creator tools, or network-effect businesses strongly preferred

Who You Are
  • Strategic thinker who can zoom out to business model questions and zoom in to feature-level trade-offs
  • Quantitative and analytical—comfortable building financial models, running experiments, and interpreting cohort data with speed of a new start up
  • User empathy combined with commercial sense—can advocate for user experience while driving revenue
  • Thrives in ambiguity and moves fast—comfortable with scrappy testing, iterative development, and changing course based on learnings
  • Strong communicator who can align leadership around a clear vision
  • Intellectual curiosity about what makes communities work and how to monetize without breaking trust
