Remote Product Marketing Specialist

Job Overview
We are looking for a strategic, data-driven Product Marketer to own the positioning, messaging, and marketing of our three core products—Ministry Pass, Sermonary, and Churchly. In this newly created role, you will collaborate closely with product, customer experience, content, and leadership teams to ensure each product resonates with our target audiences. You’ll blend customer insights, market research, and creative thinking to deliver impactful campaigns and drive growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Intelligence & Research
- Conduct research to stay on top of industry trends, competitor moves, and client needs.
- Gather customer feedback from various channels (surveys, interviews, support) and translate it into actionable recommendations for product development and marketing efforts.
- Positioning & Messaging
- Craft benefit-oriented messaging for websites, email campaigns, landing pages, and sales collateral.
- Transform complex product features into clear, engaging stories that resonate with churches and ministries.
- Go-To-Market Strategy
- Plan and execute product launches and feature rollouts for each business unit (Ministry Pass, Sermonary, Churchly).
- Collaborate with content teams to develop campaigns that amplify new product updates and reinforce brand messaging.
- Monitor launch success and iterate based on key metrics (MQLs, conversions, revenue impact, etc.).
- Content & Campaign Collaboration
- Partner with the Content Marketing Manager on editorial calendars, blog posts, webinars, and other thought-leadership initiatives.
- Ensure all content supports our core messaging, resonates with key personas, and addresses real-world ministry challenges.
- Performance Measurement & Reporting
- Define and track KPIs for product marketing initiatives (adoption rates, conversion metrics, churn).
- Create regular reports and dashboards to communicate performance insights and recommended optimizations.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in product marketing, ideally with SaaS products or within church/ministry-related services.
- Storytelling Skills: Proven ability to create compelling, benefit-oriented narratives for different audiences.
- Strategic Mindset: Comfortable setting and owning quarterly OKRs; data-driven approach to measuring success.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working closely with other teams.
- Analytical & Innovative: Ability to interpret data, derive insights, and propose creative solutions.
- Adaptability: Willing to learn and pivot in a fast-paced environment, with an openness to experimenting and refining strategies.
- Passion for Ministry & Church Culture: Familiarity with church operations, pastoral needs, or nonprofit contexts is highly valued.
- Driven for Growth: Seeks opportunities to develop new skills, doesnt need direction but anticipates upcoming challenges and projects.
