Remote Digital Advertising Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY
Global Media Outreach seeks a data-driven Digital Advertising Analyst to lead our digital ad campaigns analysis, reporting, and performance insight. This role supports campaign effectiveness through detailed metric analysis, reporting dashboards, and actionable optimization recommendations. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise in analytics tools, a passion for measuring digital impact, and a heart for ministry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze advertising performance across platforms (Google Ads, Meta, YouTube, etc.)
- Identify campaign trends, risks, and opportunities to inform strategy.
- Translate campaign KPIs into actionable insights for optimization.
- Collaborate to test hypotheses (A/B tests, audience splits, creatives)
- Track and evaluate spend efficiency, conversion paths, and audience behaviors.
- Support monthly and quarterly reviews with performance analysis and insights.
- Participate in campaign planning to align with strategic goals.
- Monitor tracking issues, tag implementations, and attribution accuracy.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta Ads Manager
- Experience with data visualization platforms (Tableau preferred)
- Familiarity with tag management tools and campaign tracking setup (e.g., UTM, GA4)
- Capacity to distill complex data into transparent, insightful reporting
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate technical data to non-technical teammates
- Comfortable managing multiple concurrent campaigns and deadlines
- Self-starter with strong attention to detail and accountability
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field
4+ years of experience in digital marketing analytics or performance marketing - Track record of influencing digital marketing decisions with data
- Experience working with PPC, display, and video campaigns
- Demonstrates a personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ and supports GMO’s Statement of Faith
- Cultivates a passion for the mission of GMO and a heart for evangelism and discipleship, both personally and professionally
- Maintain a courteous, Christ-like approach to relationships and faithfully uphold GMO’s ministry in prayer
