ChurchDesk is hiring a
Senior Product Manager

📍 Berlin

We are seeking a senior product manager to play a key role in building tomorrow’s enterprise products to create a winning product portfolio. Your primary focus will be on our enterprise customers, dioceses and deaneries in the major church denominations across Europe.

You will take responsibility for every step of the product journey including discovery and validating concepts for our roadmap with customers. Once validated, you will be responsible for shaping and successfully delivering products together with our engineering team and key stakeholders. In short, you will be responsible for your projects from the early inception to successful releases and product adoption.

You will report to our COO who leads product and marketing at ChurchDesk. You will also work very closely together with our CTO, our product & marketing designer, and our engineering team.

You will invest a lot of time with our customers both for research purposes and to aid in sales processes together with our enterprise sales team. You value meeting people and customers to gain deep insight into their needs and requirements.

As a person, you are very hands-on and enjoy getting things done while understanding that we win as a team. You are an independent thinker who can think outside the box and see solutions where most people see problems.

Job requirements

Practicalities
  • You speak German natively and are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing
  • You will either work from our Berlin office or the Copenhagen office
  • Expect up to 50 travel days a year

Experience
  • You have at least 4 years of relevant work experience, e.g. software product management, IT project management, software engineering, IT consultancy, IT administration, digital change management, or similar
  • Previous responsibilities have included developing new software products or implementing business-critical software solutions
  • You have significant experience with the major church denominations or church-related non-profits, e.g. from education, volunteering, personal network, or work experience

Personal Skills
  • You excel at creating simple solutions to complex problems
  • You have a good understanding of business and a goal-oriented mindset focusing on impact
  • You are concise and an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing
  • You are great at stakeholder management and keeping people informed. You are comfortable saying no when necessary, as well as saying yes when it seems daunting
  • You have a natural curiosity and an open investigative mindset
  • You are detail-oriented and analytical
