Remote AI Tech Lead

📍 Remote

Role Overview:
As the Tech Lead with an AI Focus, you will take ownership of all AI-related projects at Servant.io, from research and development to deployment and scaling. You will be responsible for hiring and leading a team of AI engineers, ensuring best practices in AI/ML, and integrating AI solutions into our product ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • AI Leadership & Strategy
    • Identify and implement AI-driven solutions across various products and services
    • Stay up to date with industry advancements and emerging AI technologies
  • Technical Execution
    • Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML models
    • Ensure scalability, security, and performance of AI-powered applications
    • Collaborate with product teams to integrate AI into existing systems
  • Team Building & Leadership
    • Aid in hiring, mentoring, and managing a team of AI engineers
    • Provide technical guidance and ensure best practices in AI/ML development
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
    • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, and Engineering
    • Work closely with leadership to align AI initiatives with business goals
    • Communicate complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering
  • 4+ years of AI, and/or machine learning
  • Strong expertise in machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Python for AI/ML development
  • Proven ability to build and lead technical teams
  • Strong understanding of data pipelines, MLOps, and AI ethics
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in mission-driven or faith-based technology organizations, or management consulting
  • Background in computer vision, NLP, or generative AI
  • Experience integrating AI with web, mobile, or gaming applications
