Product Manager, Growth

As a Growth Product Manager, you will work closely with your Group Product Manager to drive the growth and success of our product portfolio. This role is crucial for developing and executing strategies that enhance user acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization. 
You will work with a team of engineers who focus on projects across different products, though they do not own any specific product.

You will operate at the intersection of product development, marketing, data analysis, and user experience, identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities. Your expertise in analyzing user data, understanding market trends, and leveraging customer insights will be essential in shaping product decisions and driving continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset and a deep understanding of growth principles. You are passionate about using data to inform decisions, experimenting with new ideas, and iteratively improving product performance. You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and excel at managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Primary Responsibilities of the Role

  • Define and Drive Growth Strategy: Assist in defining the product vision (future state), growth strategy, and roadmap (approach to realizing the vision), focusing on revenue generation and customer acquisition. Develop tactical plans to execute growth initiatives effectively. This includes strategically integrating your team to work alongside other teams for specific projects, ensuring cohesive execution and alignment of growth strategies across the organization.
  • Facilitate Clear Growth Communication: Maintain clear communication between all Product Managers and stakeholders to ensure product growth goals are met and aligned with the company strategy. Work with the team to help them understand what they should prioritize with their teams for growth, ensuring that everyone is focused on the most impactful initiatives.
  • Conduct Market Analysis: Deliver MRD (Market Requirements or Demands) and pitch development documents with prioritized features and capabilities, emphasizing the corresponding business-driven impact on growth metrics.
  • Lifecycle Growth Management: Manage the product throughout the Product Life Cycle with a focus on growth, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements that drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Competitive Growth Opportunities: Be an expert concerning the competition, monitoring market trends and competitive analysis, and identifying product growth opportunities and plans to capture market share.
  • Growth-Oriented Positioning and Messaging: Develop and deliver core positioning and messaging for the product that highlights growth potential and value propositions to drive market adoption.
  • Equip Sales and CX Teams for Growth: Ensure Sales and CX teams are well-equipped with tools and knowledge to present products effectively to current and prospective customers, focusing on driving customer acquisition and retention.
  • Perform Growth-Focused Demos: Conduct product demos to customers (beta/MVP/deep dives), focusing on showcasing features that drive user engagement and growth.
  • Evaluate Growth Partnerships: Assess partnerships and licensing opportunities to drive product adoption, retention, and revenue growth and facilitate strategic alliances.
  • Set and Track Growth KPIs: Set goals and track KPIs that measure growth performance, informing future decision-making and ensuring the product's health regarding customer acquisition and revenue metrics.

  • Plans and aligns to manage the product throughout its lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, working closely with engineering, and delivering winning products. 

Technical Qualifications


Required: 

  • Based in PST timezone.
  • 3+ years of experience in product management, growth, or a related role, preferably in a technology or software company.
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager in the technology industry, preferably in a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
  • Proven track record of driving growth and achieving business results through data-driven strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, A/B testing, and using analytics tools 
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills and strong presentation and public speaking skills.
  • High effectiveness in understanding technical challenges and communicating with development teams. 
  • Passion for innovation, technology, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Preferred:

  • Experience with growth hacking techniques and tools.
  • Previous experience in project management, including the ability to plan, execute, and deliver products within defined timelines and budgets.
  • Previous experience in B2B SaaS development, including CRM and/or financial tools.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, etc.).


Office Requirements:

  • We are a fully distributed team (100% remote) with travel required 1-2 times yearly.
  • A stable work environment with a designated workspace and access to high-speed internet.
  • To align with other team time zones, including US, Canadian, and Australian. US candidates are preferred.
