Remote Sales Account Executive

Overview
Join Salem Author Services, a dynamic division of Salem Media Group, in the role of full-time Sales Account Executive. We're seeking a proactive individual to guide Christian authors through the journey of independent publishing and brand building. As the leading publisher of independent Christian books, we're dedicated to empowering authors to reach their audience effectively. This is open to being a hybrid position based in Maitland, FL office or remote within the US.

Compensation
Annualized compensation: $48,000 - 100,000 base including commission and bonus incentives

Responsibilities
The ideal candidate:
  • Experienced sales professional with 3-5 years in non-retail sales, demonstrating a track record of success.
  • Responsible for acquisition, customer experience, growth, and sales with assigned authors, ensuring top-notch service and commitment.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, adept at nurturing connections over the phone and building brand affinity.
  • Passionate about the impact of Christian literature and its ability to inspire and transform lives.
  • Familiarity with personal branding in the digital age, including social media, blogging, and networking.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce preferred.
  • Team player with strong communication skills and a proactive approach to sales.

  • Exceeding sales goals on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Actively engaging with tools to support author success.
  • Fostering strong relationships within the company and with authors.
  • Contributing to a positive work culture focused on client satisfaction and innovation.
