This role owns the strategy, content creation, and execution for social media for the Precept and Yarrow brands. This role speaks into paid digital campaigns. This role works in collaboration with a creative team to bring campaigns to life. This role will play a role in the strategy, creation, and execution of all aspects of the department’s social media marketing strategy.<br><br><strong>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:</strong></div><ul><li>Maintains a current understanding of best practices for social media marketing.</li><li>Analyzes performance metrics, providing recommendations to improve effectiveness of social campaigns.</li><li>Helps develop metric-based strategies to meet department and ministry goals.</li><li>Creates original high-quality content that builds meaningful connections to our audiences.</li><li>Regularly publishes across multiple social media platforms according to defined schedules using a social media tool.</li><li>Implements an editorial calendar to manage social media and digital marketing content and plans specific, timely marketing campaigns.</li><li>Builds and executes social media strategies through competitive audience research and industry best practices.</li><li>Monitors social media channels and responds to comments and questions quickly and appropriately</li><li>Sets up and optimizes company pages within each platform to increase visibility of company social content.</li><li>Continuously improves by capturing and analyzing appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and acts on the information.</li><li>Generates regular reports on campaign performance.</li><li>Ensures marketing messaging is conveyed clearly and delivered properly to constituents.</li><li>Ensures internal and external messages follow relevant industry policies and best practices.</li><li>Works closely with the Digital Marketing Manager, Senior Content Marketing Manager, and other departments to ensure campaign targets and timelines are achieved.</li><li>Creates a positive team atmosphere and facilitates teamwork beyond the scope of own functional area.</li><li>Actively participates in staff activities, including daily prayer, weekly Bible study, and in-person staff gatherings.</li><li>Performs other job duties as assigned.</li></ul><div><br><strong>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:</strong></div><ul><li>Strong understanding of social media marketing and analytics</li><li>Strong understanding of Hootsuite desired.</li><li>Expert understanding of social media platforms including but not limited to: TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube.</li><li>Strong project management skills</li><li>Ability to work well under tight deadlines and balance multiple projects simultaneously</li><li>Able to problem-solve and prioritize work independently</li><li>Results driven and proactive</li><li>Able to work in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Problem-solving attitude</li><li>Flexible and adaptable, comfortable with change</li><li>Able to anticipate, receive, and incorporate feedback from peers and manager</li></ul><div><br><strong>TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:</strong><br>Bachelor’s degree preferred in marketing, public relations, advertising or related field. 2-4 years of experience in media, marketing, PR, or copy writing. Proven track record of performance with professional writing. Fundraising experience in a philanthropic or non-profit organization preferred.</div>
