We are a team of designers, developers, and coordinators, creating polished experiences for our clients and end users. The Product Team is responsible for the entire user experience including: End-User Mobile Apps, the Subsplash Dashboard (our Content Management System), Subsplash Giving (Our Donation and Merchant Services Platform), the Web App, backend data feeds, analytics, and more. The Product Team supports our Clients by helping them maximize their revenue to fuel their mission and expand their reach.<br><br></div><div><strong>About the Role</strong></div><div>As a Software Development Engineer III, you will report to the Software Development Manager. This is a senior level role within our team, and with that comes a high degree of responsibility. You will work closely with designers, product managers, your manager, and other engineers to architect and build robust, scalable, and secure systems. As a senior level individual, you will be asked to mentor others while also working on your own commitments and deliverables. You will be expected to keep up to date with industry best practices and help implement them at Subsplash where they make sense.<br><br></div><div>You will work closely with your scrum team and help ensure the team's success through on time delivery of commitments. As a senior member on the scrum team, it will be expected of you to provide accurate estimates of work, and help your team meet the commitments to the scrum team.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>As part of the Backend Development team you will be expected to give feedback on code reviews, and accept critical feedback on your own code. You’ll be expected to write and review documentation, proposals, API docs, and code. After approximately 6 months on the job, you will also be expected to participate in our on-call rotation helping ensure our service uptime requirements are met.
